Dear Colleagues
The time has come for those of you who have not already
registered for the annual O rthopaedic Congress in September
to do so!
The venue is the idyllic Drakensberg.
The congress is being held from M onday’ 31st August to F riday,
4th September 2009 at the Champagne Sports Resort in the
Central Drakensberg and we look forward to having you all
there.
The academic programme will include three Instructional
Courses with invited speakers from overseas. The invited
speakers are as follows:
Prof Phillipe N evret from Lyon, F rance - The Knee and
Arthroscopy
Dr S Rajasekaran from Coimbatore, India - The Spine
Prof Bennnie Lindeque from Denver, USA - Bone Tumours and
Sepsis
In addition, there will be the free papers and workshops which
promise to be very interesting.
When the working day is done, you can enjoy the plentiful
leisure activities that the Resort and the surrounding areas has
to offer.
Accompanying persons are very welcome and a fun and
enjoyable programme has been arranged for them.
